The course also covers the basics of the regulatory and accreditation processes; the laws, policies and procedures pertaining to patient safety, healthcare quality, data confidentiality and security, as well as professional and practice-related ethical issues.
Presents the evolution of electronic health records. You will have the opportunity to explore the features and functions of EHR systems in a simulated environment, and compare and contrast different EHR systems.
Learn to understand and apply statistical concepts, methods and reasoning; organize, interpret and produce data; analyze statistical arguments and communicate findings clearly; and appreciate the relevance of statistics to contemporary society.
